  My grandmother (from England) is visiting along with my mother, sister, aunt, and my wife's friend; all down for our baby shower. My wife found Dickens and decided they would all go for a girls' day out. My grandmother was very excited because it is difficult to find any good tea rooms where she lives in Connecticut. My wife tried to make a reservation, but Dickens said there was no need.When they arrived at Dickens the waitress said she wouldn't serve them! They were told they were too busy, even though there were only 3 people in the restaurant!!! I am very disappointed, this was supposed to be a special day for my family and my wife and instead they were turned away because apparently taking tea orders for 6 people is SO difficult! Don't worry Dickens...when they came home I made tea for all of them, even myself. And now that I think about it, if I can make tea for 7 people maybe you should hire me!
